We’re delighted to hear from Weidenfeld & Nicolson [a division of Orion Publishing] who have just acquired a new Easy Rawlins mystery by Walter Mosley, and that Walter is in the UK currently, so without further ado -

Weidenfeld & Nicolson is delighted to announce the acquisition of a new Easy Rawlins mystery by the legendary American crime writer, Walter Mosley.  The as-yet-untitled novel will be published in autumn 2014 as a hardback at £18.99 and eBook at £9.99. 

Walter Mosley brought back Easy Rawlins to great acclaim in LITTLE GREEN, which was published in June 2013.  The iconic detective first appeared in the 1990 classic DEVIL IN A BLUE DRESS.  Walter Mosley will be visiting the UK from Monday 14 October to Thursday 17 October, speaking at the Durham Book Festival, Off the Shelf Literary Festival in Sheffield and the Manchester Literary Festival.  All the events will be followed by a screening of DEVIL IN A BLUE DRESS.  An excerpt from LITTLE GREEN is available here
