The Strand Magazine Critics Awards were announced on Wednesday 9 July 2014.  The Awards are as follows –

Best Novel – The Shining Girls by Lauren Beukes (Mulholland Books)

Best First Novel – Ghostman by Roger Hobbs (Knopf)

Lifetime Achievement Awards for their contributions to the genre – R.L Stine and Peter Lovesey.
