Capital Crime Digital Festival

On October 28th 2019, Capital Crime will launch its digital festival. Hosted at www.capitalcrime.digital, the festival is a permanent platform that showcases more than 70 authors.

Each participating author will receive: -

A dedicated profile page which can be customised and updated to include current biographical information and details about the author’s latest books.

A dedicated books section that links directly to the author’s chosen sales platform (Amazon, Waterstones etc.).

A video interview in which the author can talk about their latest book or forthcoming work. Professionally produced by a UK Top 50 Televisual production company, the video will be hosted on YouTube, and will feature on the author’s dedicated profile page. It can also be used by the author on their website or on any social media platform.

A spotlight feature on the capitalcrime.digital homepage. Participating authors will be showcased on the digital festival homepage throughout the year.

The Capital Crime Digital Festival is a powerful author marketing opportunity. It is a permanent platform that is free to readers, giving people all over the world the opportunity to discover new authors. The dedicated books section provides a direct and immediate link to a point of sale, so if a reader likes the author interview, or responds to what they read on the author’s profile page, one click is all it takes for them to be able to buy the book.

Authors who want to be part of the Capital Crime Digital Festival simply need to buy a weekend or day pass to Capital Crime 2019 and contact Capital Crime festival manager Lizzie Curle (lizzie@capitalcrime.org), and ask to be considered.

We will be recording author interviews at Capital Crime (26th – 28th September 2019). If an author is selected for the digital festival, they will be given a time to attend our on-site studio and record their video interview.

With year-round international promotion, the Capital Crime Digital Festival is a unique marketing opportunity authors won’t want to miss.
