The finalists for the 2025 Los Angeles Times Book Prizes in several categories have been announced.
The finalists in the Mystery/Thriller category are as follows

Everyone Wants to Rule the World by Ace Atkins
Crooks by Lou Berney
King of Ashes by S A Cosby
Prizes will be awarded on Friday 17th April 2026.
