Books to look forward to from Bitter Lemon Press

Lumen by Ben Pastor sees a German army officer investigating the murder of an Abbess amidst the horrors of Nazi-occupied Poland. Stunned and horrified by the violence and ideology of his fellow officers Bora's sense of Prussian duty is tested to the breaking point. Lumen is due to be published in January 2011.

A writer staying at the Ritz is found murdered and battered with the trophy she won as a literary prize. Teresa Solana has written a satire of the Catalan literary scene as a hilarious murder mystery. A Short Cut To Paradise is due to be published in February 2011.

In The Stronger Sex young lawyer Alexander Zabel finds himself defending a lying, power obsessed adulterer and ruthless industrialist who is accused of wrongfully dismissing his assistant who is also his mistress. The Stronger Sex is by Hans Werner Kettenbach and is due out in March 2011.

Hotel Bosphorus is by Esmahan Aykol. When the director of a film is found murdered, Kati Hirschel who is the owner of the only mystery bookshop in Istanbul decides that she cannot resist the temptation to start her own maverick investigation. Hotel Bosphorus is due to be published in April 2011.
