Mystery Jo Nesbo Project Revealed

ALTER EGO TOM JOHANSEN TO FEATURE IN HIS OWN JO NESBO NOVEL AND WARNER BROTHERS SIGN FILM DEAL

Warner Brothers has signed a deal for Blood on Snow, the first book by Jo Nesbo writing under the pen name Tom Johansen. The film is reported to be a potential star vehicle for actor Leonardo DiCaprio, and DiCaprio will produce alongside Appian Way partner Jennifer Davisson Killoran and Langley Park's Kevin McCormick. Jo Nesbo and his agent Niclas Salomonsson will be executive producers.

Blood on Snow will be published by Harvill Secker in autumn 2014, with Blood on Snow 2: More Blood, to follow in spring 2015. Harvill Secker can reveal today that Jo Nesbo's alter ego Tom Johansen is set to become a character in his own right, as the plot of a new Jo Nesbo novel, The Kidnapping (to be published by Harvill Secker in autumn 2015), will centre around kidnap victim Tom Johansen.
